I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with extensive experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and age groups, including children, adolescents, adults, and couples. I offer personalized treatment approaches tailored to each person’s unique needs, addressing challenges such as anxiety, depression, substance abuse, trauma, and various mental health disorders. A significant focus of my work is empowering women to reconnect with their inner strength, build self-confidence, and navigate life’s challenges with resilience and hope. I believe that healing begins with a compassionate, collaborative relationship where you feel safe, heard, and supported. My goal is to create a warm and trusting therapeutic space where we can work together to explore your experiences, identify your goals, and develop practical tools to promote growth and well-being. Whether you are seeking to overcome difficult emotions, improve relationships, or find clarity and purpose, I am here to walk alongside you on your journey toward healing and empowerment.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

The first session is a crucial time for us to establish a foundation of trust and understanding. During this session, I will invite you to share your story, your background, current struggles, and what brings you to therapy at this time. Together, we’ll explore your goals and what you hope to achieve through our work together. I want you to feel safe and heard, so this session is also your opportunity to ask any questions you might have about the therapy process or my approach. My intention is to create a warm, welcoming space where you feel comfortable moving at your own pace and begin to feel hopeful about the path ahead. This initial meeting is just the start of a collaborative journey tailored to your unique needs.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths is my genuine empathy and ability to create a therapeutic environment where clients feel deeply understood and valued. I combine this warmth with a solid foundation in evidence-based therapies, including CBT, ACT, TF-CBT, EFT, and DBT, which allows me to tailor treatment to fit your specific needs and circumstances. I’m committed to working collaboratively with you, helping you build practical skills while also encouraging self-compassion and insight. Clients often tell me that they appreciate my balanced approach, supportive yet empowering, that helps them face challenges with greater confidence and resilience. My goal is always to help you unlock your potential for healing and growth in a way that feels authentic and meaningful to you.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am best positioned to support individuals who are seeking a compassionate and safe space to explore their inner world and work toward positive change. My ideal clients are those experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, or relationship challenges, who are motivated to understand themselves more deeply and develop healthier ways of coping. I have a special passion for empowering women to reclaim their strength, build self-confidence, and navigate life’s complexities with resilience. I also work effectively with children, adolescents, adults, and couples who want to improve communication, resolve conflict, or heal from past wounds. If you are someone who values a collaborative therapeutic relationship and is ready to engage in a journey of self-discovery and growth, I am here to support you every step of the way.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT is one of the foundational approaches I use in therapy because it helps us make sense of the connection between our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Together, we gently explore the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, like negative self-talk or unhelpful coping strategies, and work toward reshaping them. I use CBT to empower you with practical tools you can carry into everyday life, so you feel more in control of your emotions and choices.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

ACT is especially meaningful in my work with clients who are navigating emotional pain or life transitions. Instead of trying to eliminate difficult thoughts or feelings, we learn how to make space for them, while still moving forward with what truly matters to you. I use ACT to help you reconnect with your values, build self-compassion, and create a life that feels more intentional and fulfilling, even when things feel uncertain.

Trauma-Focused CBT

When working with children, teens, or adults who have experienced trauma, I use TF-CBT as a gentle, structured way to support healing. This approach balances skill-building with compassionate storytelling, helping you feel safe as we begin to process what’s happened. Whether it’s learning how to manage big emotions, reduce shame, or regain your voice, I walk alongside you every step of the way.

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)

Relationships are one of the most powerful parts of our lives, and also where we can feel the most vulnerable. I use EFT to help individuals and couples better understand their emotional needs and repair disconnection. In sessions, we work to strengthen the emotional bonds that matter most to you, so you feel seen, heard, and supported. EFT creates space for healing through authentic, secure connection.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed by intense emotions or like you're constantly in survival mode, DBT can be a life-changing approach. I integrate DBT into my work to help clients build skills in mindfulness, emotional regulation, and healthy communication. We go at your pace, focusing on both acceptance and change, so you can learn to cope more effectively and create more peace in your day-to-day life.
