(she/her)
Hi, I'm Allison, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Pennsylvania with six years of clinical experience, primarily in community mental health. I work with both children and adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, and trauma-related stress. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to each individual's unique needs and goals. I have extensive experience helping clients manage challenges that arise in work, school, and social settings, and I strive to create a supportive environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes. Whether you're facing a difficult life transition, struggling with overwhelming emotions, or looking to build healthier coping skills, I'm here to support you on your journey toward healing and growth.
The first session is all about going at your pace. Meeting someone new and answering personal questions can feel uncomfortable, so there's no pressure to share everything right away. We'll focus on getting to know each other, discussing what brings you to therapy, and creating a space where you feel safe and supported. Together, we'll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
As a therapist, I believe one of my greatest strengths is helping clients identify and challenge negative internal monologues. Together, we'll explore unhelpful thought patterns, develop healthier perspectives, and build practical skills that support lasting emotional well-being.
I love working with families and adolescents! I love providing people with tools to challenge their internal states to reach your goals!

Family Therapy
I am trained in eco-systemic family therapy and have worked as a family-based therapist for 4 years. I think the eco-system model works very well in finding the root of the problem rather than focusing solely on the behaviors.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Using CBT is a great way to identify and address a problem that allows for client's to understand and decipher a problem in their own way while addressing and challenging nergative thoughts.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
SFT allows for client's to focus on present and future experiences rather than perseverating on past experiences. This is a great tool to use to set goals and stick to them.
Motivational Interviewing
Sometimes we understand there is a problem but feel very stuck on how to address or find the root of the problem. Motivational Interviewing is a great tool to use to help client's get to that readiness for change to make positive changes in their lives.
