Hello! I'm a licenced marriage and family therapist, practicing in CA. I have been in practice since 2011 and have treated a wide range of clients from various cultural backgrounds. Issues that have been presented in my practice are anxiety, depression, trauma, self esteem, life transitions, parenting, perinatal and postpartum issues and more. I strive to create a safe space to allow clients find and strive on their positive and creative energy, discover and develop their goals, empower in their strengths, as well as collaborate on the skills for emotional and behavioral self-regulation.
The first sessions is structured as personal introduction, presentation of current issues to address in therapy, assessment of anxiety/depression related symptoms, collaborating on goals for therapy.
I feel my strengths as a therapist are creativity, ability to create a safe non judgemental space, sense of humor.
I love working with clients who are emotionally curious and motivated to expand their thought process to unveil more perspectives to their issues in order to make changes for their personal possible best.
Positive psychology approach allows clients to expand insight into their thought process, highlight strengths and creative skills in order to enrich experiences, attain goals to experience life as more meaningful and satisfactory.
Psychodynamic approach allows the clients to delve into their past experiences and learned values to connect the dots to their present thought process and underlying behavioral patterns.
Leaning one's attachment strategy which is based on trust, support and safety , as it was established in childhood while forming relationships with the primary caregivers, allows clients to expand insight into their relationships, make changes towards more secure attachment style, recognize drawbacks, improve experience of being in relationships.
