About me

Thank you for considering me as your therapist. I believe that choosing the right clinician for your personal journey is very important. And, it is a brave decision you have made to come forward to start this personal quest. I have over 25 years of experience in clinical social work in the following settings: hospice, hospitals, community mental health centers and private practice One of my areas of specialties is in working with individuals with complex medical issues and disabilities and/or their caregivers.  This includes helping families navigate often difficult decisions involved and finding the right resources when health issues occur.   Additionally, I have over 10 years of teaching experience in clinical social work and professional counseling programs. Therefore, I have an understanding of the stressors that college students experience and I feel equipped to help them navigate often challenging career and life choices. I am passionate as well about helping clients with self image and performance anxiety through psychocybernetics. Lastly, I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional Level 2 (CCTP-II). Therefore, I am trained to evaluate and treat individuals who have experienced acute, chronic and complex trauma. It is an honor and privilege to watch the healing process take place.
