About me

Hello, I'm Ashley. I provide therapy for children, teens, adults and families. I specialize in trauma, anxiety, depression, grief and relationship challenges, using evidence-based practices like Trauma- Focused CBT alongside creative approaches such as art therapy. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel understood and empowered to build resilience, improve relationships and move toward healing.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we'll focus on getting to know each other and creating a safe, comfortable space for you to share whats brings you to therapy. I will ask some questions about your background, current concerns, and goals so I can better understand how to support you. This is also your chance to ask me questions, learn more about my approach, and let me know what feels most important for you right now. Together we will begin to outline what you would like to work on in therapy and set some initial goals. My priority is that you leave the first session feeling heard, supported, and clear about how we can move forward together.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

As a licensed Clinical Social Worker and proud retired US Army Veteran, I bring both professional expertise and lived experience to my work with clients. My greatest strength lies in creating a safe compassionate space where people feel truly heard and supported while also guiding them with evidence based methods. What sets my approach apart is my ability to blend structure with creativity to meet a clients needs.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am best positioned to serve children, teens, and adults who feel overwhelmed by life's challenges but are motivated to find healthier ways of coping. Many of my clients come to therapy struggling with trauma, anxiety, or relationship conflicts, often feeling "stuck" in old patterns or unsure how to move forward. Others are parents or families who want to strengthen communication, set healthy boundaries, or better support their children's emotional needs. I work well with clients who are open to self-reflection, curious about change, and ready to take small but meaningful steps toward healing. Whether your goal is to reduce anxiety, process painful experiences, strengthen family bonds or build confidence, I provide the guidance, tools, and supportive space needed to help you reach those goals. My clients often share that they leave sessions feeling both supported and equipped with practical strategies they can use in everyday life.
