(she/her)
As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I am deeply passionate about supporting individuals on their journey toward emotional well-being and personal growth. I have spent my career working across diverse healthcare settings—from emergency and surgical care to correctional and outpatient psychiatric services. These experiences have shaped my compassionate, patient-centered approach to care. I provide individualized treatment that combines therapeutic support with expert medication management. My goal is to help each person I work with find balance, build resilience, and achieve meaningful progress toward a healthier, more fulfilling life. I strive to create a space where clients feel truly seen, heard, and supported as they move from surviving to thriving.
During our first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other and begin building a strong, trusting foundation. I’ll learn more about your history, current concerns, and goals, and we’ll review your mental health and medical background, including any previous treatments or medications. Together, we’ll create a personalized plan that reflects your unique needs and supports your journey toward improved wellness. My goal is for you to leave the session feeling understood, informed, and hopeful about the next steps ahead.
I take time to understand each person’s story—what has shaped you, what matters most, and what you hope to achieve. My thoughtful, patient-centered approach allows me to provide meaningful, effective care that supports your long-term mental wellness. I combine empathy, professionalism, and thorough assessment with expert medication management to help you move forward with confidence and clarity.
I am best positioned to serve adults and older adolescents who are ready to move beyond simply “getting by” and achieve meaningful, lasting improvement in their mental health. I work with high-functioning individuals who manage daily responsibilities but feel internally overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or disconnected. My focus includes anxiety, depression, and other mood disorders such as mood instability and bipolar spectrum conditions, often presenting as overthinking, irritability, low motivation, or emotional highs and lows. I take a collaborative, educational, and patient-centered approach, supporting clients who want more than a quick prescription and value understanding their symptoms and treatment options. By integrating medication management with education and lifestyle support, my goal is to reduce symptoms while helping clients regain balance, clarity, and a sense of peace so they can grow into the best version of themselves.
Motivational Interviewing
I integrate motivational interviewing alongside medication management and psychoeducation, particularly when patients are struggling with adherence, lifestyle changes, or mental health recovery goals. I have found that motivational interviewing helps patients feel heard, fosters intrinsic motivation, and often leads to improved outcomes because patients are actively involved in creating their own treatment plan.
Supportive
I often combine supportive therapy with medication management and psychoeducation. For example, I might help a patient with depression develop daily routines, manage stress, and build social support while also monitoring and adjusting medications as needed
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I integrate CBT with medication management and psychoeducation, especially for conditions like depression, anxiety, and PTSD. CBT helps patients understand how their thoughts affect their emotions and behaviors, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery.
