I’ve been working as a licensed counselor since 2007. The first half of my career was spent working with kids in group homes and hospital settings. Most of my clients were kids in the foster care or judicial system, I’m trained in EMDR therapy. I have experience working with trauma, depression, and anxiety. The second half of my career has been working exclusively with adults. I have extensive history in working with the LGBTQ community. Most of my clients live at or below the poverty line. I enjoy helping clients problem solve and work through challenges,
We will sit down and discuss history and where you’ve been. We can work together to figure out where you would like to go in therapy. Therapy is all about what you want to work on. My goal is to address what you want addressed.
Due to my training in EMDR, I am especially equipped to help clients who have experienced a variety of trauma in their lives.
I've spent the last 11.5 years of my career working with adults. I'm very familiar with adults living with HIV/AIDS. I have a lot of experience working with the LGBTQ population. I have 7 years of experience working with teenagers.
I’ve been practicing EMDR since May 2022. EMDR is an excellent approach for those working to overcome past trauma. I’ve become well-versed in using EMDR via telehealth.
