About me

I’ve spent the past decade working in the mental health field, and what continues to matter most to me is creating a space where people feel comfortable being fully themselves, without judgment, pressure, or needing to have everything figured out. I enjoy helping clients better understand how their minds work & build strategies that actually fit their lives. Outside of my work as a therapist, I value staying connected to the people in my life and spending time in nature. Both remind me of something I often talk about in therapy: healing and resilience are deeply connected to relationships, environment, and the spaces where we feel most like ourselves.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our intake session I’ll gather some information about your background, concerns, and goals for therapy. This session is your chance to share what’s bringing you to therapy and what you'd like to work on. I’ll listen closely, ask questions to better understand your experiences, and explain how therapy works. Together, we’ll start to create a plan for our sessions moving forward, and you’ll have the opportunity to ask any questions you might have about the process.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded, but I will also challenge you. I believe that healing happens when people feel safe enough to explore their experiences honestly, and my role is to walk alongside you as we make sense of what you’ve been through and where you want to go next. Therapy with me isn’t about fixing you. It’s about understanding your story, recognizing your strengths, and helping you move forward in ways that feel meaningful and sustainable.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I tend to work best with clients who are motivated for change and willing to look honestly at themselves and their patterns, even when it’s uncomfortable at times. Therapy isn’t always easy, but it can be incredibly meaningful when you’re open to the process. I often work with individuals navigating ADHD, anxiety, trauma, depression, relationship challenges, stress, and issues related to self-worth and identity. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck in certain patterns, or unsure how to move forward. My approach is compassionate and supportive, but also active. I believe therapy should help you gain insight, build practical coping skills, and make real changes in your life, not just talk about what’s wrong.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In my sessions with clients, I apply Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to collaboratively address and transform negative thought patterns and behaviors. Together, we identify distorted thinking, challenge those beliefs, and work on cultivating healthier perspectives.

EMDR

I employ Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to assist clients in processing and overcoming distressing or traumatic experiences. In sessions, I guide clients through sets of bilateral stimulation, often involving eye movements, to facilitate the brain's natural ability to heal from emotional wounds.

Psychodynamic

I use psychodynamic therapy to help clients explore how past experiences, unconscious patterns, and relational dynamics influence their current thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Through open dialogue, reflection, and insight-building, I guide clients in recognizing recurring themes, processing unresolved emotions, and developing healthier ways of relating to themselves and others.

Strength-Based

I incorporate a strength-based approach in my therapy sessions to empower clients by focusing on their existing strengths and resources. Together, we identify and build upon their positive qualities, skills, and resilience.

I was concerned that it would be too analytical-to sterile and that I wouldn't want to confide in her. But I found her warm and easy to talk too. I like that we talked about goals.
