Hi! My name is Takisha Booker, and I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in NC. I received my master's degree in counseling psychology from Tarleton State University and currently working towards a Doctorate degree. Prior to going into private practice, I worked as a Military Family Life Counselor on Fort Liberty. I have over ten years of combined experience and I have had the opportunity to work with people from all walks of life. I love helping others because it is a part of who I am and not just what I do.
During the initial session, we will have a brief introduction then I'll go over the confidentiality code before we dive into the client's specific challenges or needs. Then we collaborate together as a team to develop the best treatment plan.
I have over ten years of experience in the Mental Health field, and I have had the opportunity to work with a very diverse group of people. This experience has allowed me to gain a wealth of knowledge in various areas. I use an eclectic approach to therapy so I am able to meet their individual needs.
I love working with individuals and couples that are eager to focus on healing and accomplishing their goals. I consider it is a privilege to have the opportunity to help other people along on their healing journey. Everyone needs help from time to time from others that truly care.

She never guilt trips me and cares about me and what I am going through and I consider like a second mother and is willing to to listen to my concerns and not be judgemental and shows she really has a kind heart
