Hello, I’m so happy you’re here. My name is Erica, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over six years of experience supporting children, adolescents, young adults, and families through mental health and substance-related challenges. I earned my Master’s degree in Social Work from Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis and have been practicing since 2020. My approach is compassionate and collaborative, grounded in the belief that meaningful change happens when we look not only at the individual, but also at the systems and environments surrounding them. I specialize in helping clients build emotional regulation skills, gain insight, and feel more empowered in their daily lives. I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel heard, respected, and supported at their own pace, and I strongly believe in involving families when appropriate—because lasting healing extends beyond the therapy room.
During our first session, we’ll take time to get to know one another and begin building rapport in a comfortable, supportive space. We’ll explore what brought you to therapy, the challenges you’re currently facing, and the goals you hope to work toward. This collaborative conversation allows me to develop a personalized treatment plan tailored to your unique needs, which we’ll continue to build on together in future sessions.
With over six years of experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, and families, I take a strengths-based approach that centers on resilience and personal growth. I prioritize creating a space where clients feel genuinely heard, valued, and understood beyond their challenges. Through attentive listening and collaboration, I work alongside clients to build on their existing strengths and support meaningful, sustainable change.
I enjoy working with children, adolescents, and adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, school or work-related challenges, and everyday life stressors. I also support parents and families as they navigate the complexities of relationships and family dynamics. Using a life-span perspective, I help individuals and families navigate developmental transitions and next-stage-of-life challenges. Many of the people I work with feel overwhelmed or uncertain about how to make changes—not due to a lack of motivation, but because they haven’t yet been given the tools or support needed. Together, we focus on building emotional regulation, practical coping skills, and confidence to foster meaningful, lasting growth.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
I integrate Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) techniques with all of my clients to support mindfulness and staying present in the moment. DBT helps individuals build practical skills to regulate emotions, navigate stressful situations, improve relationships, and manage daily challenges more effectively. By practicing these skills, clients gain tools to respond to life’s difficulties with greater awareness, balance, and confidence.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
I also use Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), which emphasizes your strengths and resilience to support positive change in daily life. This approach allows us to set achievable short-term goals while also building on the progress and successes you’ve already made. By focusing on what’s working well and the skills you’ve already demonstrated, we can create practical strategies to help you move forward and continue growing.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as a core part of my work. CBT is a structured, evidence-based approach that helps individuals identify and understand the connection between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. By recognizing unhelpful patterns, we can develop practical strategies to cope with anxiety, depression, stress, and other challenges. I tailor CBT to each client’s unique needs and goals, whether it’s helping children build emotional regulation, supporting adolescents with school or peer-related stress, or assisting adults in navigating life transitions and next-stage challenges. CBT is often combined with a strengths-based, collaborative approach to ensure clients feel empowered and supported throughout the process.
Couples Counseling
I provide couples counseling to help partners strengthen communication, navigate conflict, and build deeper understanding and connection. My approach focuses on identifying patterns that may create tension, highlighting each partner’s strengths, and fostering collaboration to work toward shared goals. I also incorporate skills-based strategies—drawing from evidence-based approaches like CBT, DBT, and Solution-Focused techniques—to help couples improve emotional regulation, problem-solving, and mutual support in their relationship. Whether you’re facing specific challenges or seeking to enhance overall relationship satisfaction, I aim to create a safe, non-judgmental space where both partners feel heard, valued, and empowered to grow together.
