PMHNP, 3 years of experience
Eziaha is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC), passionate about providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care to individuals across their lifespan, with 18 years of nursing experience and 3 years of experience as a PMHNP. I aim to create a safe, collaborative space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered on their journey to wellness. I specialize in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of a wide range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, PTSD, ADHD, and obsessive-compulsive disorder. My approach combines psychopharmacology with supportive psychotherapy, and I emphasize holistic care that considers physical, emotional, social, and lifestyle factors. My experience spans outpatient psychiatry and telepsychiatry. I work closely with interdisciplinary teams and believe in a patient-centered approach. Whether helping someone through a challenging time or supporting long-term management of a chronic condition, I strive to deliver clinically effective and personally meaningful care.
In our first session together, we will introduce ourselves and I ask questions about your visit. This will help me set up a care plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
One of my greatest strengths is my ability to communicate with my patients and my interpersonal skills. I can relate comfortably with my patients. I show empathy and support their decisions as they journey through their mental health challenge. I pay close attention to my patients and make them feel heard. I ensure my patients leave their visit with smiles.
I focus on patients aged 6 years and above with depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, PTSD, ADHD, and obsessive-compulsive disorder.
The CBT model will enable me to identify how your thoughts affect your feelings and actions.
