Hello, i have been a therapist for 7 years since receiving my degree from Texas Wesleyan University. Therapy is my calling - I love it and I do it well. I am never going to lie to you. I will never judge you. I will talk you in a straightforward, non sugar coated way. I will hold you accountable and keep you on the track you want to be down. I will do this while supporting and caring for you as, together, we make things better for you.
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
During the initial session it will be a bit of a "meet-and-greet". We will introduce ourselves. I will usually describe 'how I therapy' and a little bit about myself. You, the client, can tell me what is going on and what helped you decide to seek support and what you hope to accomplish with in our sessions. Then we will review the intake paperwork, decide if we are a good fit, discuss scheduling and move forward from there.
Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.
Not only do I listen to you but also hear what you are saying and not saying. While you may be speaking your face is saying something else and I feel that I can help draw that out. I am sincere and heartfelt. I am honest and hopeful and your biggest cheerleader.
