I am a licensed marriage and family therapist. I received a master’s degree in counseling, with an emphasis in marriage and family therapy from California State University, Long Beach. I have over 7 years of experience working in non-profit and community mental health clinics and have had my own private Practice for about 3 years.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session we discuss what brings you into therapy, gather background information, and explore your goals for treatment.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I am a therapist because I am passionate in wanting to eliminate the stigma that is often surrounded with seeking help. I am bilingual and can provide therapy in Spanish as well.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I have a lot of experience working with women, new mothers and adults who might be having some difficulties adjusting to new life transitions.
