I taught in high school and several colleges. I also have been a cardiology nurse for the last 23 years. I've taught students, patients and families about health promotion and recovery. I love working with patients of all ages, adolescents, and adults, with ADHD, anxiety, depression, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), bipolar disorder, PTSD and schizophrenia. I address existential and spiritual distress in our lives. I use evidence-based medication management along with helping you connect to your real self. Medication alone cannot fix your symptoms in a few days or even a few weeks. As a provider, I address your spiritual distress and existential suffering. You will feel accepted without bias or judgment, regardless of their race, financial status, and gender identity, and substance use status.

I love working with patients of all ages, adolescents, and adults with mood, anxiety, and substance abuse problems. I'm a military family: daughter is an Air Force psychiatrist and husband retired from Army National Guard. This had a profound impact on me; I've observed the many health issues of members in the armed forces, motivating me to seek suicide and substance abuse prevention.
