(she/her)
Hi! I'm a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), based in Pennsylvania. I received my master's from the University of Pennsylvania and have been practicing for 10+ years. I also teach nursing at the University level, which drives my desire to stay up to date and engaged in the literature. I provide both supportive therapy and medication management for people across the lifespan, supporting people where they are to learn more about themselves in order to create change.
We usually do a lot of questions and answers in the first session and figure out if we are a good fit for one another. I may ask you questions about the past, present, and how you want things to change in the future. This helps us figure out goals, where you want to focus the work that we do together, and how you want to do that, whether it is just therapy, medications, or both.
I have worked with people from all phases, stages, ages, life experiences and backgrounds. Rest assured that you can expect a provider who is comfortable with who you are. I am skilled at navigating a balance between your goals and what I see as helpful. I am flexible in my approach.
I enjoy working with adults, pregnant people, and children/adolescents. I am especially experienced in working with people who are transitioning to new phases in their lives. My clients tend to feel like they are building insight, which ultimately helps them make the changes they want to see. I help people move from a place of stagnation to growth.
