I have worked in the counseling field for over 20 years and have been licensed for 8 years.
I work with adults on improving their mental health by working to reduce anxiety, depression and stress to improve their quality of life.
First session
Our first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. I’ll explain what counseling looks like, answer any questions, and explore what you’re going through so we can begin creating a plan together that supports your goals.
Strengths
My greatest strengths as a provider would be my patient, compassionate, and caring disposition to allow room for others to feel safe and heard as they open up about their life challenges and work on personal growth in these areas.
Ideal clients
My ideal client is someone who may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or ready for a change. They may be experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, or life transitions and want support in understanding themselves and moving forward. I enjoy working with clients who are open to exploring their thoughts, feelings, and patterns while developing practical tools to create greater balance and improve their quality of life.
Treatment methods
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Together, we’ll explore how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected, and use that awareness to shift unhelpful patterns and support a more balanced, less anxious and stressful life.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
DBT provides supportive tools that help individuals better manage distress, regulate emotions, and build healthier relationships.
