Hello!! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and earned my Master's Degree from the University of Southern California in Clinical Social Work with a sub-concentration in Military Social Work. I currently hold a certification as a Sex Therapy Informed Professional working towards full certification as a Sex Therapist for individuals and couples. I also specialize in working with clients of all ages who suffer from complex trauma and PTSD.
During our first session we will begin the process of getting to know each other while identifying reasons that have brought you to therapy and possible goals you are seeking to accomplish.
I make every effort to provide an environment each individual feels safe and comfortable while taking a person-centered approach helping clients safely process issues without judgement while utilizing their strengths to achieve their personal goals.
My experience in the mental health field includes working with at risk youth, individuals reintegrating into society, Veterans, Active-duty members and their dependents. Areas of focus include life transitions, trauma, depression, PTSD, adjustment disorders and sexual issues.

Strength-based therapy is a type of positive psychotherapy and counseling that focuses on your internal strengths and resourcefulness, rather than on your weaknesses, failures, and shortcomings.
It is a lens through which the therapist views their clients, taking into account the impact of trauma on emotions, regulation, and behavior.
Whether it is with individuals or couples adding this type of treatment can be vital to an persons happiness and fulfillment. As a clinician I enjoy helping others navigate intimacy issues emotional and sexual. There is a wide variety of topics that can be incorporated with intimacy complications, whether discovering desire again, working through sexual trauma and discovering what your new normal is sexually or just learning how to be more comfortable speaking about sexual topics with your partner.

She really sit out to me because she listened to a lot of what I had to say and asked my coping mechanisms and we set a plan for the future so I will be seeing her every week and I’m really excited to meet with her.

This was my first therapy session with Anna, and I’m so glad I found her. She made me feel comfortable and at ease. She was incredibly open-minded, warm, and positive—qualities that made it easy for me to open up. Anna really took the time to listen without judgment, and I felt like she genuinely cared about my perspective. Her thoughtful approach and calm energy helped me feel supported right away. I left the session feeling lighter, more grounded, and optimistic about the process ahead.
