Do you often intend to act a certain way in a given situation yet actually react very differently? Do you often feel that your reactions often have a "mind of their own?" I work with clients to help slow down reactions, calm emotions and identify patterns in their life. Together, we will develop and practice more adaptive ways of dealing with life's challenges. I integrate a variety of approaches and techniques into my work based on your unique needs. My goal is to help you gain an awareness of the connections between your thoughts emotions, and body sensations. Working with the body helps to experience a situation differently and in turn creates an opportunity to act in a new way. I often incorporate mindfulness and breathe work into my practice and focus on the mind body connection. Whether you're dealing with daily stressors, relationship issues, trauma or cycles of anxiety and depression, I'm here to help. Seeking therapy can feel scary but you're making the right choice. You deserve a safe space to heal and grow. In our sessions together, I'll meet you with compassion and evidence-based techniques so you can overcome patterns habits holding you back. Let's work together!

I started studying yoga principles in addition to mindfulness, and I was able to integrate these principles into my daily life. Incorporating different principals and techniques into my practice, such as mindfulness and breathe work allows for a mind body connection. I have specialized training in integrative somatic trauma therapy which guides my work in helping clients not only understand their thoughts and emotions, but going further to understand how our nervous system responds
