About me

I've always had a genuine heart for helping people. Like many others, I have experienced and witnessed distressing events that have impacted my family and myself, and I learned to find meaning and purpose in life's struggles. To be able to have the experience of walking with another human being through the process of struggle, healing, and transformation is the greatest reward one can experience. I believe in collaborating with clients to gain insight into their current challenging situations and increase their understanding of general emotional management. Collaboration with clients is essential in goal development because they are the experts on what success looks like to them. As the therapist, my focus will always be on what my client identifies as a meaningful goal to them.

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In the first session, clients can expect an open and welcoming environment where they can freely express their thoughts and feelings. We will discuss their reasons for seeking counseling and explore their goals for our work together. Additionally, I will provide an overview of the therapeutic process and answer any questions they may have. The first session allows clients to build a trusting and collaborative therapeutic relationship.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I specialize in working with children, adolescents, and young adults who suffer from emotional dysregulation. I have experience treating stress, depression, anxiety, anger management, and grief. However, I look forward to working with individuals of all ages.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am best positioned to serve young adults aged 20-30 and adults aged 30-45.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have extensive experience with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and integrate it into my practice to help clients identify and challenge negative thought patterns and behaviors. I work collaboratively with clients to explore the connections between their thoughts, feelings, and actions. Through CBT techniques, I help clients develop effective coping strategies and practical skills to manage and overcome challenges. Additionally, I use homework assignments and goal-setting to encourage the application of new skills outside of therapy sessions. My goal is to empower clients to make lasting changes in their lives through the practical and evidence-based approach of CBT.
