I firmly believe in the importance of the relationship between the client and therapist. I utilize a variety of treatment modalities based on what works best for the individual. Even though this process can be challenging, it can also be joyful, incredibly rewarding and sometimes even funny. I love all parts and aspects of how this works and look forward to traveling your path with you.
The first session will be an opportunity for introductions and information gathering. It will be a chance to evaluate the "feel", the connection, and the comfort level. It will be an opportunity to ask questions and determine if it is a good match.
I am open minded, compassionate, and eclectic. I use a variety of approaches including humor (when appropriate). As a therapist it is an honor and a privilege to walk beside you on your path. We can get through just about anything working together. I believe that most things can either be fixed or improved. Whatever happens, you don’t have to deal with it alone.
I work virtually because I find it is easier and more convenient for clients. I find that there are less cancellations and people find it easier to fit therapy into their busy schedules. I am best positioned to work with anyone who prefers to or is willing to do this work virtually.
