Hi! I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and a National Certified Counselor. I have been working in the mental health field for over a decade and have experience working with individuals and couples. With collaboration, compassion, and honesty we will work together to identify existing barriers and to find your inner strength to overcome these barriers. I utilize a collaborative, open, non-judgmental strengths-based approach to treatment and believe everyone has the ability to make a difference! I am excited you are here and look forward to working with you.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

I always start with an introductory session, where you’ll have the opportunity to share your story and what you hope to achieve in therapy. We’ll work together to figure this out! I strive to create a warm, welcoming environment that allows you to feel comfortable sharing and being vulnerable, while also feeling secure. From there, we’ll work together in the sessions that follow to make these goals a reality for you.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I am a strong believer in personal power which I incorporate into treatment. I also believe strongly that we all have the capacity to be successful in our lives and find happiness.

My treatment methods

Eclectic

I am a client centered strengths-based therapist with an eclectic approach. This approach allows me to use a variety of techniques and strategies in session to create a personalized experience for you as the client. The techniques and strategies used within a session will be determined based on the clients' specific issues, personality, and preferences but also allows the ability to adjust as needed. This is a flexible, collaborative evidenced based, holistic approach to therapy.
