During our first session, I really like to get to know the client on a high-level. We don't necessarily need to dive right into everything-- I like to share a little about myself and my background as well as my approach to therapy.

My dream client is a young adult who is likely in the midst of a life transition and needs tools and coping skills to feel equipped to handle the challenges these transitions will bring.

I use SFBT to help my clients understand their strengths, clarify their goals, and build practical solutions rather than focusing only on problems. SFBT is a goal-oriented and future-focused approach that emphasizes what is working and how to create positive change.

Supportive

I use Supportive Therapy to provide my patients with a safe, empathetic space where they feel heard, validated, and emotionally supported. This approach is particularly effective for individuals dealing with chronic stress, grief, major life transitions, or mental health conditions that require ongoing encouragement and support.

Trauma Informed Care

I use Trauma Informed Care to create a safe, supportive, and empowering environment for my patients who have experienced trauma. This approach recognizes the widespread impact of trauma and ensures that therapy is delivered in a way that avoids re-traumatization and fosters healing.
