New to Grow
Hi there. Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and my goal is to create a space where you feel safe, supported, and understood. I work with adults who may be struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, life transitions, or feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve them. My approach is warm, collaborative, and insight-oriented. I draw from attachment-based, relational, psychodynamic, and cognitive behavioral approaches to help clients better understand their emotional patterns and build healthier ways of relating to themselves and others. Together, we explore how past experiences may shape present challenges while also developing practical tools to support change in daily life. I believe therapy works best when you feel comfortable being yourself. My role is to walk alongside you with curiosity, compassion, and respect as you move toward greater self-understanding, healing, and growth.
Our first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin building a comfortable, supportive space. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you to therapy, what you’ve been experiencing, and what you hope to get out of the process. I may ask questions about your current challenges, relationships, and background to better understand your story. You’re also welcome to ask any questions you have so you can get a sense of whether working together feels like the right fit.
My greatest strengths are curiosity, empathy, and creativity. I approach each client as unique, tailoring my work to their individual needs and experiences. This allows me to support growth in ways that feel meaningful, practical, and authentic.
My ideal clients are curious, reflective, and ready to explore patterns that may no longer serve them. Together, we build insight and practical strategies to support growth, self-understanding, and more fulfilling relationships.
Attachment-based
The patterns we develop in childhood—often formed to maintain safety and connection —can become automatic emotional responses that once protected us but may no longer serve us in adulthood. Together, we explore these patterns with curiosity and compassion, creating space to build more secure ways of experiencing relationships and regulating emotions.
Relational
By exploring how we experience connection and trust, clients can develop new ways of relating to themselves and others in a way that feels more connected, honest, and supportive.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
In my practice, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients become more aware of the connection between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Together, we identify unhelpful or limiting thought patterns and explore how they may be influencing emotional distress or life challenges. Through practical tools and collaborative exploration, clients learn ways to shift these patterns, develop healthier perspectives, and build skills that support lasting change in their daily lives.
Psychodynamic
In my practice, I use psychodynamic therapy to help clients understand how past experiences may be affecting their current thoughts, emotions, and relationships. We explore patterns that show up in their lives and where they may have started. This process helps build self-awareness and can support meaningful, lasting change.
