Hello! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) from Connecticut. I received my Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Nebraska- Lincoln, and have been practicing for over 25 years. My current practice accepts individual adults (18+). I have experience across all age groups, and over 15 years of experience in the field of education. I look forward to getting to know you and helping you to move forward in a positive way.
In our first session, we will discuss what issues you would like to address as we meet. We will also talk about your current life, and look at your systems of support and your stressors.
I am very compassionate, and encourage clients to feel relaxed and safe in our counseling space. I offer varying perspectives to consider as we work through your topics of concern.
I enjoy working with adults who are struggling with self esteem and imposter syndrome. I also have extensive experience with depression and anxiety issues. In addition, I have over 15 years of experience in adult education and have knowledge of career and college counseling.

Right off the back Michelle made me feel safe and comfortable about expressing myself. I felt like there was no judgement. My first therapy session ever and I'm very happy Michelle made it a beautiful experience.
