Aurora Graham
Hello! I am a queer, neurodivergent therapist based in California. I am passionate about helping people heal from the effects of trauma, violence, grief, and chronic anxiety. As a therapist, my goal is to help others have more freedom and connect with their own power. I help people get unstuck from what’s holding them back from living their most authentic, fulfilling lives.
First session
The first few sessions are about getting to know you as a person and exploring how therapy can help you. We work together to identify what is getting in the way of you living your best possible life and co-create goals to address this.
Strengths
I bring authenticity, creativity , and humor (when appropriate). My lived experience and intersectional lens informs my work.
Ideal clients
I specialize in working with adults who are struggling with the impacts of Post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)- both complex and recent, those who have experienced trauma, violence or abuse, grief, chronic anxiety, and members of the LGBTQIA2S+ community. I enjoy working with folks who are interested in improving their lives, are communicative, and are open to trying new approaches.
Treatment methods
Trauma-Informed Care
I’m trained in several trauma, focused therapies, including trauma informed care (TIC), prolonged exposure (PE), cognitive processing therapy (CPT), and more.
