LCSW, 10 years of experience
Oh hi there! I’m Britney Fulp, a licensed clinical social worker with over 10 years of experience working with kids, teens, and adults. I take a laid-back, supportive approach and really focus on what works best for you. I pull from different types of therapy like CBT, ACT, and compassion-focused therapy to help you manage whatever life’s throwing your way, whether that’s stress, anxiety, big life changes, or just feeling overwhelmed. You don’t have to figure it all out alone, I’m here to help.
The first session allows me to get curious about you and your goals within the therapeutic relationship. We will casually walk through some questions that will position us to make the most of our work together. I also welcome questions from you as you get comfortable with me.
What makes me unique as a therapist is my ability to truly get it, not just from clinical training, but from real-life experience. I’ve worked in schools, inpatient units, homes, and private practice, which gives me a deep understanding of how life’s challenges show up in different spaces. I bring a mix of structure and warmth, blending evidence-based approaches with a human, relatable style. Clients often say they feel safe, seen, and never judged with me. I’m not here to “fix” you. I’m here to walk alongside you, help you understand yourself better, and support your growth in a way that feels real and doable.
I specialize in working with people who feel overwhelmed, anxious, stuck, or unsure of themselves. If you’re struggling with self-esteem, burnout, life transitions, or just feeling like you’re not enough, you’re not alone, and you don’t have to navigate it by yourself. I take a down-to-earth, supportive approach and use different therapy styles to meet you where you are. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, more confident, and more like yourself again.
I use ACT to help clients accept difficult emotions, clarify values, and take action toward meaningful goals.
I use CBT to help clients identify, challenge, and reframe unhelpful thoughts and behaviors.
I use Compassion Focused Therapy to help clients reduce shame and build self-kindness and emotional healing.
I use eclectic therapy by tailoring techniques from different approaches to fit each client’s unique needs.
I use feminist therapy to empower clients, explore identity, and address systemic and social inequalities.
