Hi there, I’m Britney. Are you experiencing life challenges such as family discord, low self-esteem, substance abuse issues, anxiety, and depression? As your therapist I will help you develop coping skills to decrease anxiety and depression and become more aware of your triggers that lead to low self-esteem, anxiety, and depression, substance abuse, and family problems. As your therapist, I will help you focus on finding solutions to your problems.
In our first session, we will do brief introductions. We will complete an intake assessment that includes the client's family history, mental health history, psychiatric history, medical history, medication history, goals, and many other topics that you feel are important for the therapist to know. The first session will set up the steps to follow up sessions.
I will help you apply new techniques such as thought stopping allows you to decrease negative thoughts, anxiety, stress, and depression. I will introduce tapping solution techniques which allows you to tap 9 pressure points of the body and apply positive affirmations to help decrease anxiety, negative thoughts, anger and stress I will teach grounding exercises to help decrease negative thoughts
