My name is Myron! I am a very engaging and goal-oriented therapist who seeks to build a therapeutic relationship while assisting you at building towards your future. I have been told that I am a people person. I love people and being able to help people feel more confident about life is something that I thoroughly enjoy. I seek to understand more about my clients so that they can understand more about themselves. If we can work together to overcome any obstacles that life has thrown your way, I am excited to partner with you in your journey.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session my goal is breaking ice with brief introductions, exploring your reasons for seeking therapy, answering any questions that come to mind, and lastly discussing a rhythm that would work well with you as we work together.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I am very client-oriented. I think my greatest strength is being able to adjust to whatever a person may need. I am also very creative. I use my creativity to ensure that we are having dynamic conversations. I also am tapped into modern therapeutic approaches. If there is something that I do not know, I am eager and willing to learn in order to serve my clients better.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I have worked with a wide array of clients over my time as a social worker and therapist. I love working with people of all ages because we all have potential and futures that we seek to explore and have positive mindsets. When I think who I am best positioned to serve, I think it is someone who is interested in a better future for themselves and for those around them. I am a strong proponent of the growth mindset. I think that at all ages, men and women desire growth over stagnation. I think that it can take time to develop a growth mindset but through CBT, Strength-based, and client focused therapy, it is possible for everyone to achieve their goals in life.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have used Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for a long time in my professional career. Analyzing cognitive distortions, the connection to our thoughts, feelings, and actions, as well as identifying core beliefs can assist with creating new positive thoughts, feelings, and actions that can improve quality of life.

Group Therapy

Group therapy is a great option for feeling connected in a world where isolation and loneliness have grown in the past decade. I also appreciate group therapy because when you are able to work alongside others for a common goal of improving quality of life, you can grow in areas where you may not have grown if you are navigating your mental health journey alone.

Strength-Based

We all have strengths! I love this form of treatment because it is validating and empowering to use the things that make you, you, to better your quality of life. Strength-based treatment can also help with self-exploration as you see to discover new and maybe hidden strengths.

Trauma Informed Care

Trauma informed care is abut feeling safe and empowered as you heal and rebuild. I believe this is very important in today's time as PTSD can sometimes disguise itself as other mental health challenges.
