My clinical experience spans a variety of settings, including outpatient counseling, inpatient psychiatric care, and nonprofit community mental health. These diverse experiences have equipped me to support clients from a wide range of backgrounds and presenting concerns.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session together, my goal is to get to know you—your story, your concerns, and what brings you to therapy. We'll explore what you're hoping to gain from this experience and begin identifying goals that feel meaningful and achievable to you. I’ll also share how my expertise can support your needs, and together we’ll discuss the focus and direction of therapy. This session is a collaborative starting point where we build a foundation of trust, set clear expectations, and ensure that our work aligns with your unique circumstances and goals.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

As a therapist I integrate evidence-based approaches to help clients create lasting change. I am a Certified Dialectical Behavior Therapist (C-DBT) and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), which allows me to offer specialized support for individuals struggling with emotional regulation, past trauma, and interpersonal challenges. These therapeutic frameworks provide practical skills and deeper insight to help you move toward a life that feels more balanced, meaningful, and aligned with your values. I’m committed to helping you build a life worth living—one step at a time.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am best positioned to support individuals and families who are navigating life transitions, managing symptoms of anxiety, depression, or bipolar disorder, or working through challenges related to family conflict. My experience across both outpatient and inpatient settings has equipped me to help clients facing a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and relational concerns. I work well with individuals who are ready to explore their inner experiences, develop healthier coping strategies, and create meaningful change. Whether you’re beginning therapy for the first time or returning to continue your growth, I offer a safe, supportive space to help you reach your personal and relational goals.

My treatment methods

Daialectical Behavior (DBT)

I provide Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help you manage intense emotions, navigate challenging relationships, and cope more effectively with life’s difficulties. In our work together, I’ll guide you in building practical skills in mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness, while offering support and validation every step of the way. My goal is to help you develop tools for lasting change, greater resilience, and more balance in your daily life.

Motivational Interviewing

I use Motivational Interviewing (MI) to help you explore your goals, clarify what matters most to you, and find your own motivation for change. In our sessions, I provide a supportive, non-judgmental space where we can talk openly about challenges, ambivalence, or uncertainty. Together, we’ll identify your strengths, explore options, and create a plan that feels realistic and meaningful for you, empowering you to take steps toward the changes you want in your life.
