Hello, I'm a trauma-informed, humanistic Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner based in California. I was trained at UCSF and have been in practice for over 12 years. I am here to create a safe and empathetic space to support the unfolding of your healing and wholeness. My approach is holistic, addressing the mental, emotional, spiritual, and energetic aspects of mental health recovery. With a warm and curious manner, I foster a collaborative relationship that supports self-connection and resilience. My practice integrates diverse modalities to honor each client’s unique path of evolution.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session together, I will get to know you through getting a sense of your history, your present day experience, and your goals for our work together. My intention is to deliver a healing "assessment," where your experience is met with compassion, sense-making, resonance and support. For the time being, I am not prescribing controlled substances (stimulants and bentos), and if you are needing a refill on these medications - please find an alternate prescriber. Thank you for understanding.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My strengths as a provider include empathy, understanding, intuition, curiosity, unconditional positive regard, and open-mindedness. My experiences with a wide array of clients from diverse contexts in the past 10 years have given me an ease of intuition and understanding of the person sitting in front of me, as well as an ever-deepening reverence for the human experience. My trainings in various healing modalities have given me a wide toolkit, perspectives and skillfulness in supporting transformational healing.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

It is my honor to work with all people who feel drawn to working with me. Oftentimes, those who find their way to me are highly sensitive and open-minded. You may feel like the black sheep of your family, like you don't quite fit into this world because of your sensitive disposition, or like the way you experience the world seems different from how others move through the world. Additionally, I aim to be a safe space for any clients who are BIPOC or immigrants with trauma histories, navigating the complexities of their nervous systems and greater systems they find themselves in.

My treatment methods

Trauma Informed Care

As a trauma-informed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, I approach each client with a deep understanding of the profound effects that trauma can have on mental, emotional, and physical well-being. My practice prioritizes creating a safe, empathetic, and non-judgmental space where individuals feel understood and accompanied in their healing process. My training and experience allow me to offer therapeutic interventions that are both sensitive to trauma histories and grounded in the principles of compassion, self-connection, and personal agency. My approach is holistic, and seeks to address the mental, emotional, spiritual and energetic dimensions of trauma recovery. Together, we make space for the possibility of post-traumatic transcendental growth, where trauma may be seen not only as something to be healed from but as an opportunity for deep personal evolution. Whether clients are navigating the aftermath of specific traumatic events or seeking a deeper connection to themselves, I am committed to walking beside them in their journey toward healing, self-compassion, and wholeness.

Humanistic

My practice is rooted in a humanistic approach, with a warm and curious manner that invites clients into a collaborative healing journey. I believe deeply in the power of connection, unconditional positive regard, and the therapeutic relationship -- working alongside my clients to foster growth, resilience, and self-compassion. I aim to create a holistic environment that encourages healing not just on a mental and emotional level, but in ways that encompass the whole person — body, mind, and spirit.

Eclectic

My work is informed by a diverse range of trainings, including Resonance Healing, Hakomi Psychotherapy, Existential-Humanistic Psychotherapy, Psychedelic-Assisted Psychotherapy, Spiritual Herbalism, Human Design, and Qigong - just to name a few. Integrating these learnings and modalities into my practice allows me to support clients in navigating their unique paths, honoring the mysteries of the unfolding human experience with reverence and openness. Whether through talk therapy, somatic awareness, spiritual exploration, or alternative therapeutic techniques, I am committed to helping clients rediscover their inner wisdom and build a sense of safety within themselves.
