Fabiola Robertson
Fabiola Robertson is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Mental Health Counselor who earned her MS in Clinical Psychology with a concentration in Mental Health Counseling. She has extensive experience working with school-age children, adolescents, young adults and families. She is fluent in Portuguese, Spanish and English. Fabiola is skilled in assessing and treating adolescents with problem sexual behavior. Her background includes work in substance abuse, co-occurring disorders, depression, ADHD, BPD, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, and bipolar disorder. Fabiola maintains a high degree of cultural competency and a passion to work with military families, forensic cases, criminal justice, family welfare. She also has worked with individuals who are grieving. She has expertise in working with immigrants and LGBTQ. Her modalities are feminist, person-centered counseling, humanistic approach, CBT and MI.
First session
Creating a safe space where clients are able to process their emotions and identify their goals is one of the main objectives besides feeling comfortable and supportive during session. Therapeutic alliance is one of the main and strongest aspects when collaborating and determining what works best for the client.

One of my biggest assets and strength is my ability to offer session in different languages simultaneously such as Portuguese, Spanish and English fluently. Moreover being cultural sensitive and competent to ensure I provide a non judgement space to clients
