I have been in practice for 9 years now. I facilitated BIPP (Battery Intervention Prevention Program) classes for 18 months with a domestic violence agency. I have been working with Narcissistic Abuse Syndrome since 2015. I've been dealing with trauma and PTSD since I was a practicum student in 2008, my first specialty. I also work with teens and adolescents on trauma, depression, anxiety and social issues. I work with clients ages 6 and up on the following issues: Trauma/PTSD TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury) Narcissistic Abuse Syndrome Anxiety and Depression Addiction and Recovery Men's Issues Social Issues Procrastination and Self-sabotage.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Usually, I like to use books or workbooks that deal with at least one of the issues with which my clients present . This provides structure and resources and way to help clients discuss issues specific to themselves. Mondays and Saturdays are teletherapy only days. If you would like a teletherapy appointment on one of those days please feel free to contact me at 972-638-0338 (call or text) and we can discuss what is available. I like to book recurring appointments for same day and time if possible.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I use CBT, CPT, and EFT. I use Doxy.me or Zoom for teletherapy. CBT Cognitive Behavioral Therapy CPT Cognitive Processing Therapy EFT Emotional Freedom Technique (founded by Gary Craig) I do

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Boundaries is an area where most people are struggling. When you have healthy boundaries in place, a lot of other issues begin to shrink and/or go away. I usually start by teaching healthy boundaries so clients are able to set aside time to do the work that comes with therapy and give themselves space.
