I'm a licensed clinical social worker with over 15 years of experience in the mental health field. My approach to therapy is humanistic, person-centered, and grounded in the belief that every person has their own story, strengths, and needs. I focus on the whole person and genuinely enjoy helping people navigate life's challenges, connect with what matters to them, and create meaningful change in their lives.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session is really a chance for us to get to know each other. I want to understand what has been going on in your life, what brought you to therapy, and what you hope might be different. You don't need to come prepared or know exactly what to say. I'll ask questions and help guide the conversation, but I also want you to feel comfortable being yourself. Together, we'll start identifying how therapy can best support you.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I believe one of my greatest strengths is my ability to genuinely connect with people. I bring warmth, authenticity, compassion, and a lot of experience into my sessions. I don't believe therapy should feel rigid or one-size-fits-all, so I draw from different approaches based on the individual sitting in front of me. I also tend to look at the whole person and often incorporate mindfulness and wellness into our work. My goal is to help clients feel genuinely heard while also building insight and making changes that improve their everyday lives.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal client is someone who is open to a supportive, collaborative approach to therapy and values genuine connection. I work well with people navigating anxiety, stress, life transitions, or periods of feeling overwhelmed or unsure of what comes next. I enjoy incorporating psychoeducation, practical resources, mindfulness, and wellness skills when helpful, while always individualizing therapy to the person in front of me.

My treatment methods

Humanistic

I focus on you as a whole person, not just a diagnosis or a list of symptoms. I take time to understand your experiences, values, and what matters to you. Therapy is a collaborative process, and I believe genuine connection, compassion, and feeling truly heard are important parts of the work.

Strength-Based

I help clients recognize and build on the strengths, skills, and resources they already have. Even during difficult times, there are often things that have helped you cope, adapt, or keep moving forward. We can build on those strengths while also developing new tools and ways of navigating challenges.

Eclectic

I draw from a variety of therapy approaches rather than using the same method with every client. Depending on your needs, I may incorporate education, mindfulness, practical coping skills, exploring patterns, or strategies for managing thoughts, emotions, and stress. My approach is flexible and individualized to you.
