New to Grow
I created Mental Scandles after my own mental health journey brought light, calmness, and comfort into my world. Everyone has a mental health journey and I am here to assist in acknowledging the shifts with ease and patience. Through humor, patience, empathy, and respect I will assist you ensuring you hold yourself up even when you feel the mental scandal is too much.
Our first session will be based in lightness and humor. I want to ensure we both are comfortable working with one another. During the first session we will make it as conversational as possible without you having to worry about going anywhere you are not comfortable going to yet.
I bring knowledge of being on the opposite side of the therapist into sessions. I will be what you need me to be in each session we work together, whether that is a soft place to land or a direct path ahead. In each session it is you working while I support.

I am trained in EMDR. I do not just use EMDR for trauma-informed care but also for performance concerns, daily anxiety reduction, and building confidence to go through daily living.
Trauma Informed Care
Using trauma informed care is essential for me to ensure I am meeting you where you are when we are speaking about trauma. The goal for me is to never trigger any event you are not ready to go to yet.

Cognitive Behavioral is essential for me to use while working with you so we can start with the basics of growing the internal confidence.
