Hello, I'm a Licensed Clinical Social worker (LCSW and LISW) based in Pennsylvania and Ohio. I received my Masters from the University of Pittsburgh and have been practicing for 15 years. I help adults struggling with an array of mental health disorders. I am able to work with a wide age range with struggles in everyday life stressors to trauma and everything in between.
Welcome! My name is Renee Cavalier. I have been in practice for 21 years; 16 in private practice. In addition, I have experience in community mental health, behavioral health rehabilitative services (restructured as IBHS), and university/research settings. I am also a licensed attorney; however, my sole focus is on psychotherapy. I genuinely enjoy the practice of psychotherapy, and I have great respect for the clients I serve and the process in which they engage. I look forward to meeting with you!
I offer an individualized approach in counseling my clients. I am collaborative, eclectic, and pragmatic in my approach using a client-centered, strengths-based, solution-focused framework. I will use the therapeutic methods that work best for you. I have been honored to share many people’s lives and experiences in my more than 30 years working in this field and have continued to be reminded of our ability to be resilient and grow through difficult and overwhelming circumstances. One of the many things I’ve had the privilege to learn in doing this work is that when we accept our experiences and learn from them, we can obtain clarity and value from all experience. I have worked with clients and families with diverse origins on a variety of concerns and many have shared that they find me to be warm, supportive and easy to talk to. Some of the techniques I use include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Rational Emotive Therapy (RET). I specialize in anxiety, mood disorders, trauma, substance use, and family/relationship issues. It would be my honor to share my training and experience with you in hope that our collaboration will help you experience a richer fuller life.

Hi, I’m Ashley. If you’re feeling stressed, overwhelmed, or like you’re carrying a lot on your own, you don’t have to do it alone. Taking the first step toward support can feel big, and I’m glad you’re here.
I’m a licensed clinician in Pennsylvania with over five years of experience supporting individuals and families. I work with clients navigating stress, anxiety, and depression. I also have expertise working with pregnancy and birth experiences, perinatal mental health, infant mental health, family conflict, and parenting challenges. I also support concerns related to motivation, self-esteem, and confidence.
I believe you are the expert on your own story, and that you already have strengths we can build on together. My role is to help you feel understood, identify what’s getting in the way, and develop practical tools that support meaningful change. We’ll move at a pace that feels manageable and create goals that fit your life.
Hi there! I'm assuming you made it to my page because life has gotten particularly difficult and you're searching for some sort of direction or confirmation that "you are not crazy for feeling that way". We are not crazy for feeling - and therapy can help assist you in understanding why some emotions are more difficult to feel than others. Recovery is about learning tolerance; not forgetting and dismissing your experiences. I am experienced in working in both outpatient offices and inpatient hospital settings where I support clients in addressing issues stemming from generational trauma, relationships, grief and loss, life adjustments, substance use / other addictions, anxiety, and serious mental illness. I view therapy as a process that requires learning about vulnerability and accountability and then applying both for results.
I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) and have worked as a therapist treating adults in individual and group therapy for 4 years. I specialize in anxiety, grief, and trauma. My approach includes therapies like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Prolonged Exposure, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Narriative Therapy, and Gestalt Therapy. I'm always looking to expand my approach to best support my clients. My experience has been with community mental heath, two CIRC programs, and providing short term grief therapy at the Medical Examiner's office. Each of these have provided me with greater understanding of the system of care of Philadelphia and the reality of navigating it especially when resources can be nonexistent for housing or other basic needs. My specialities in grief and trauma are two sides of the same coin - intense loss can be traumatic. This philosophy is central to how I approach supporting clients in their journey. Both need to be address to help the healing really start.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker conducting sessions virtually in New York, New Jersey, Illinois, Pennsylvania and Nevada. I specialize in people that are going through tough times and need coping skills to manage. Life might have thrown you curve balls, and you might not be accepting of the uncertainty and the change. I'll be here to tell you that bad situations can be temporary and life changes can also be great. I specialize in helping people who fall down but get back up. I'll help you to talk about your feelings and help you to make treatment goals that you have been wanting to reach.
In our first few sessions, we'll take time to understand what's brought you to therapy and what your're hoping will feel different. From there, I'll share tools you can practice between sessions, but we'll always move at a pace that feels right to you. I work especially well with clients who are ready to show up and do the work. If you're looking for a therapist who brings warmth, humor, and a genuine investment in your growth, I'd love to be part of your journey.
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in Pennsylvania. I earned my Master’s degree from Penn State University and have had the privilege of working with individuals facing challenges related to mental health, substance use, and employment struggles. My goal is to help clients become the best versions of themselves by providing a compassionate, empathetic space to explore their current challenges. I’m Pam Sykes, a mental health provider with more than 12 years of experience offering online counseling to teens and adults, including individuals and couples. I support clients navigating anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, self-esteem concerns, life transitions, and relationship difficulties. I understand that therapy is not one-size-fits-all, so I take the time to understand what you’re experiencing and what you need to feel supported as you move forward.
You don’t have to keep holding everything together on your own. When life feels heavy, uncertain, or overwhelming, it can be hard to know where to start. My goal is to offer a calm, supportive space where you can pause, make sense of what you’re carrying, and begin finding your way back to yourself. Together, we’ll explore what’s been getting in the way of feeling balanced and connected, using evidence-based approaches and genuine collaboration to help you heal, grow, and rediscover a stronger sense of self.
Hi, I’m Heather Schmauk MS LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor). With over a decade of experience supporting individuals through challenges related to mental health, addiction, and personal growth. I help adults navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, burnout, and major life transitions. My approach is grounded in compassion and collaboration by meeting clients where they are, while helping them reconnect with their authentic self. I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Advanced Grief Counseling Specialist (CAGCS) with over five years of experience supporting people through cancer, serious illness, grief, and loss. As a two-time breast cancer survivor myself, I bring both professional training and personal understanding to this work, not because I have all the answers, but because I know that no two experiences are the same.
If you're facing a cancer diagnosis, navigating life after treatment, living with chronic illness or chronic pain, grieving a loss, or caring for someone seriously ill, you don't have to carry that alone. I work with family caregivers as well as the nurses and healthcare professionals who carry this work every day. My approach is warm, grounded, and deeply human, drawing on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). I meet you exactly where you are, without judgment.
Grief doesn't follow a timeline, and neither does healing. Whether your loss is recent or resurfacing years later, whether you're newly diagnosed, deep in treatment, in survivorship, or supporting someone you love through it all, you deserve a space that is entirely yours. A place to say the things you can't say anywhere else.
I see clients via telehealth across Pennsylvania.
Hello and welcome!
My name is Danielle, and I am a licensed LPC with over twenty years of experience working in clinical, school, and home settings. I recognize the increasing complexity of modern life. With each year, we accumulate more experiences, both positive and negative, that we are expected to process while "keeping it all together" and "getting it all done". I have a Master's Degree in Education from West Chester University, which I enthusiastically use to help my clients learn to thrive in our challenging world. I view every client relationship as a unique opportunity to serve as a positive and impactful influence that inspires lasting and meaningful change. As a parent, daughter, caregiver, sibling, and partner, I understand the pressure and expectations of modern relationships and the flexibility needed to manage daily struggles while staying motivated, focused, and stable. Similar to many of the clients I work with, I recognize that even the good days are exhausting and demanding. My ideal client is someone ready to choose to show up for themselves and engage in the process of self-transformation to create the outcomes they desire. You deserve to become the best version of yourself. I welcome the opportunity to walk with you on this journey.
All behavior is purposeful. This means that we never do anything for no reason. Even when our behavior appears confusing or counterproductive to our values, our behavior has meaning and purpose. Therapy is a setting where we can gain insight about the origins of our perceptions, thinking and behavior. With clearer understanding, we are better equipped to identify factors within our control and consider alternative responses to our conditions. We gain awareness of the needs that are being met by potentially self-defeating thinking or behaviors and have a special opportunity to practice new thinking in the safety of therapy.

Deeply passionate about social justice and facilitating and guiding positive change and development in the lives of others, I am thrilled to connect with you as you begin your journey inward. Healing is truly the risk of showing up for yourself and your resistance to the temptation to go back to unsilenced needs, numbing out, disconnection, and erasure. As a Black, queer, non-binary, Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Board Certified Diplomate (BCD) in Clinical Social Work, and Certified Sexuality Educator (CSE) with over 15 years of wide-ranging interdisciplinary experience in healing-centered and trauma-informed clinical practice, research, education, and servant leadership, I look forward to tailoring my approach to meet your needs and help you reach your goals.
Sometimes it is not easy to ask for help, whether dealing with small issues that life presents or with more complicated situations that can arise. Through identifying your natural strengths and emphasizing a solution-based approach, my primary goal as your therapist is to guide you towards finding your own truth and meaning, as well as meeting you where you are at through the process of self-discovery.
