Hi, I'm Paula Whidden, LPCC.

You may feel exhausted from carrying burdens that no one else can see.
I help teens and adults who are struggling with anxiety, trauma, stress, and life transitions find healing, hope, and practical tools for lasting change. There is a way out. Those who come to see me are often at a crossroads, frustrated at how they are trying to deal with problems and seeking workable strategies and solutions to cope. Therapy is meant to be a space to feel welcome to talk about thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that are problematic. Understanding unhealthy behaviors, frustrations with life, and/or unsuccessful efforts to cope can help reveal the obstacles that may block your path to growth and desired outcomes.
I have over 15 years experience providing therapy and case management including in the areas of: Couples counseling; Anxiety issues; Medical and chronic pain issues; Phobias; Eating disorders and body image challenges; Post-residential and outpatient maintenance therapy for continued abstinence and sobriety from substance use and eating disorders; Fertility and conception issues; LGBTQ and gender concerns; and Couples counseling (without legal involvement).
I am distinguished by my training in Strengths Based Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral, Pain Reprocessing Therapy, Emotional Freedom "Tapping" technique, Acceptance and Commitment, Mindfulness, and Contemplative Care. I am licensed in CA, ID, VA, FL, TX, NJ, WA, and UT.
Why do we explore? So you can live a life YOU want to live!

Hi there, I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with 7+ years of experience helping adults navigate anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, life transitions, and perinatal mental health challenges.
My professional experience includes working with diverse populations, including expectant and new parents, adults experiencing homelessness, and older adults. Women's mental health, pregnancy, and postpartum wellness are areas I am especially passionate about. I spent many years supporting families throughout pregnancy and the postpartum period in a hospital setting and am certified in Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C) through Postpartum Support International. I earned my degree from California State University, Northridge, and have been licensed since 2019.
Hi, I'm Eva.
Are you feeling overwhelmed, anxious, tired and just not as active in your life as you would like to be? Feeling challenged with just keeping up with everyday activities. Seem to forget to take care of yourself, that everybody else comes before you?
I help people like yourself to get back to feeling more positive, less tired, burnt out, isolated and lonely.
We will together come up with a plan for how to best work on the issues that you want to change. We will use an approach that you feel most comfortable with, and work toward a life that gives back pleasure, harmony and ease.
Whether you are dealing with a situational situation or a longer-term struggle I'll be there to support you through your work.
You have already taken a big step in the right direction just by reading through different clinicians' statements. The next step is to choose a clinician, contact Growth Therapy and set up an appointment. Sometimes these are the hardest steps to take.
One of my most important goals is to provide you with a safe space where you feel validated, and supported and provide you with no judgment, compassion and respect.
Hi, I'm Jonathan. I'm so glad you stopped by to consider services with me.
I provide individual, couples, and family therapy with a focus on understanding and helping you individually.
Since 2010 I have provided therapy to address a wide range of issues from difficult recent adjustments to long-term, chronic issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relational distress, men's issues, substance use, and ADHD. I like to work collaboratively to find what works best for each person.
My goal is to provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you really feel understood. I have a goal-oriented approach that offers tools, skills for coping, and clear, achievable objectives.
Maya Peters is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience in the field of mental health. She received her Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Southern California and enjoys serving the diverse, multifaceted Southern California community. Her treatment methodology builds on an individual’s strengths and sees treatment as a collaborative endeavor that requires empathy, transparency, and client-centered goals.
Hi! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I received my Masters from the University of Southern California and have been practicing for over 10 years. I help adults struggling with stress and mental health issues become the best versions of themselves. I am passionate about meeting people where they are at and helping them feel better and reach their goals.
I provide online individual therapy to adolescents and adults across California, offering services in both English and Spanish. I have experience assessing and treating a wide range of mental health symptoms and disorders, and I approach therapy as a collaborative process where we work together to identify goals and create meaningful change. I view you as the expert of your own life, and I’m here to offer support, guidance, and a fresh perspective when it’s helpful.
My hope is that our therapeutic relationship empowers you to navigate both present and future challenges with confidence. I’m passionate about helping clients build long‑lasting, positive change through Cognitive‑Behavioral interventions, mindfulness practices, and solution‑focused strategies designed to reduce symptoms, alleviate stress, and support you through life’s transitions.
As a licensed therapist of more than thirty years, I have the experience and expertise to work with clients on a variety of issues. I provide a safe therapeutic environment that builds trust and openness. Clients who engage in the counseling process discover new energy for life and relationships. This results in positive change and increased self-awareness. I’m actively involved in the sessions, providing guidance, structuring interventions, and setting goals. Positive change happens one step at a time, trusting that life can get better. I also have expertise in anger management/domestic violence treatment.
I’ve been working with individuals for nearly 20 years, and if there’s one thing I know for sure, it’s this: none of us are meant to do this alone.
Sitting one-on-one with someone as they untangle their story is work I don’t take lightly. It’s an honor. Over the years, I’ve supported people through burnout, transitions, grief, relationship shifts, identity questions, and those quieter seasons where you just know something needs to change, even if you can’t name it yet.
I also have advanced training in trauma and ADHD, which means I understand how deeply our nervous systems, past experiences, and unique wiring shape the way we move through the world. Whether you’re navigating the impact of trauma or trying to make sense of an ADHD brain in a world that doesn’t always accommodate it, we’ll approach your work with both compassion and practical insight.
Individual therapy is powerful. There is something sacred about having a space that is entirely yours — where you don’t have to perform, hold it together, or take care of anyone else. I also believe people need people and that is why I lead women's groups and retreats as well.
At the heart of my work is the belief that we’re all just trying to get home — home to ourselves. Home to steadiness, clarity, belonging, and alignment. My role is to walk alongside you as you reconnect with that place inside you that already knows the way.
Do you feel that you have been pulled in a thousand directions? Are you struggling with self-care, low self-esteem, negative thinking, your job, or your relationships? Is it hard for you to relax? I help clients manage anxiety, and depression and avoid burnout. Together, we can identify your work/life balance. We'll use a whole-self approach addressing the needs of your body and mind to achieve your therapeutic goals. I also use mindfulness, cognitive-behavioral therapy, EMDR, motivational interviewing, and Psychoanalytic therapy to help identify and build a stronger relationship with yourself.
Whether you are dealing with relationship issues, being overwhelmed, anxiety, depression, grief/loss, life transitions, acclimation, addiction, or recovery, I'm here to support you. Seeking therapy can be scary but it is the first step in helping your well-being. You deserve a space where you can grow, heal, and become more reflective.
In our sessions together, I'll meet you with comparison and evidence-based techniques so you can overcome the issues and habits that are holding you back. I want to help you improve the quality of your life and provide you with a support system. I look forward to working with you.

My approach is attentive, honest, and tailored to the unique needs and goals of each person I serve. My goal is to collaborate with those I serve to build insight, strengthen resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change so they can live more fulfilling and purposeful lives. Outside of my professional life, family is at the heart of who I am. I am the proud parent of seven children—three biological, two fostered, and two adopted. With my youngest recently turning 18, I am embracing an exciting new chapter of life. When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time outdoors at the lake, beach, or mountains, hiking, picnicking, and appreciating the peace that nature provides. My greatest joy is spending time with family and friends, especially my grandchildren.
I believe healing happens through connection, compassion, and courage, and I would be honored to walk alongside you as you navigate your journey toward greater wellness, growth, and fulfillment.

I’m a therapist dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with compassion, authenticity, and practical support. Welcome! I'm so glad you are here. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over twenty years of experience in the field. I initially worked in medical settings which gave me extensive experience in helping people cope with chronic illness. Helping people learn to navigate life despite additional challenges was incredibly rewarding and inspiring.
But I wanted to keep growing. So a few years ago, I went into private practice. Although my license was adequate to enter into private practice, I wanted to be as skilled a therapist as possible. Therefore, I entered a TEAM CBT training program which gave me extra training specifically in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. My Level-3 certification in this form of therapy means I have extra tools and techniques to assist clients in quickly overcoming feelings of depression and anxiety. These tools are evidence-based and extremely successful at helping people actually feel better. I want clients to be able to feel better quickly and not need to be in therapy indefinitely.
I believe that the process of therapy helps all of us clarify the lives we want and identify the obstacles in our way. Assisting clients through this process is the most gratifying work I could imagine.
Starting therapy can feel like a big step—especially if you’re not totally sure what to say or where to begin. My job is to make that part easier.
I’m a licensed therapist who works with people dealing with stress, anxiety, relationship issues, burnout, low motivation, and feeling stuck or overwhelmed. Some clients come in with something specific going on, while others just know something feels off and want to figure it out. Both are completely welcome here.
In our work together, we focus on what’s actually happening in your day-to-day life and how to create real, noticeable changes—not just talk in circles. I aim to keep sessions practical, collaborative, and grounded so you leave with clarity and a better sense of direction.
Clients often tell me they appreciate having a space where they can be honest without feeling judged or analyzed. You don’t need to have the “right words” or a clear plan before starting—we’ll figure that out together.
If you’re looking for therapy that feels straightforward, supportive, and focused on helping you move forward, I’d be glad to work with you.

I will take time to understand your experiences, strengths, and challenges while creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space for you to share at your own pace. Allow me to partner with you and help you understand that you are worthy of connection, love, and belonging.

I also support caregivers and professionals who are balancing high levels of responsibility while trying to care for themselves and others.
