As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Florida and Illinois with over a decade of experience, I specialize in supporting individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, identity exploration, and relationship challenges. My therapeutic approach is integrative and trauma‑informed, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), mindfulness‑based practices, and psychodynamic therapy. Across all modalities, my priority is to create a compassionate, grounded, and non‑judgmental space where you can explore your emotions, your history, and the parts of yourself that are seeking relief or connection. I believe healing begins with self‑awareness and expands through curiosity, courage, and support. Every person carries an innate capacity to grow, and my role is to walk alongside you. Helping you understand your patterns, reconnect with your internal resources, and develop practical tools to navigate life’s challenges. Whether you’re managing daily stress, processing trauma, or working through relational difficulties, I aim to offer a therapeutic experience that fosters clarity, resilience, and meaningful change. My background includes extensive work in trauma treatment and EMDR, and I am deeply attuned to how trauma shapes emotional, psychological, and relational well‑being. I also incorporate IFS to help clients understand and compassionately engage with the protective and wounded parts of themselves, allowing for deeper integration and self‑leadership.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In your first session with me, clients can expect a warm, welcoming, and non-judgmental environment where they can begin to explore what brings them to therapy. We’ll spend time discussing your personal history, current challenges, and what you hope to achieve through our work together. I’ll ask about your background, including key life events, relationships, and any significant experiences that have shaped who you are today. This helps me understand your unique situation and how we can best approach your goals. During this initial session, we’ll also talk about practical matters, such as confidentiality, session structure, and how I work as a therapist. My goal is to ensure you feel safe, heard, and understood from the start, and that we create a collaborative plan tailored to your needs. This first session sets the foundation for our work together, and it’s a space for you to share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with. It’s also a time for us to explore if we’re a good fit and to set clear expectations for the therapeutic process.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I possess a profound empathy for all my clients and adopt a personalized approach for each individual. What is a challenging day for one person could be effortless for another, and I strive to create a safe and supportive environment that allows each individual to have a unique experience. My objective is to set them up for success by tailoring their experience, enabling them to feel better equipped to address life. I have an in-depth understanding of how trauma can impact emotional and psychological well-being, and I am skilled in guiding clients through the healing process with patience and compassion. Additionally, as a creative, I offer innovative activities and interventions to encourage meaningful engagement. In problem-solving, I excel at helping clients identify patterns in their thoughts and behaviors that may contribute to their difficulties. I collaborate with clients to deconstruct complex issues, provide fresh perspectives, and empower them with actionable strategies to overcome obstacles in their personal, interpersonal, and family lives. Lastly, I remain authentic in the therapeutic space, with the hope that clients will feel comfortable enough to do the same.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I specialize in working with individuals who are navigating complex emotional landscapes, particularly those healing from trauma or experiencing challenges with emotional regulation, self‑worth, or interpersonal relationships. Many of my clients are moving through significant life transitions or seeking deeper insight into long‑standing patterns. My practice is especially well‑suited for clients who are ready for reflective, transformative work. Whether you’re exploring your internal world through IFS, processing trauma with EMDR, or strengthening your relational patterns and sense of self. I am queer‑affirming, kink‑ and sex‑positive, and committed to providing a therapeutic environment where all identities, expressions, and consensual relationship structures are respected. My goal is for every client to feel safe, seen, and supported.

My treatment methods

EMDR

I am trained in EMDR and use this approach to help clients process traumatic memories, reduce emotional reactivity, and build new, adaptive beliefs. EMDR allows us to work gently and efficiently with past experiences that continue to impact the present, supporting deeper healing and nervous system regulation.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify unhelpful thought patterns, understand how these patterns influence emotions and behavior, and develop practical, evidence‑based strategies for change. CBT offers clear, structured tools that support insight, emotional regulation, and more effective coping in daily life.

Trauma-Focused CBT

I use Trauma‑Focused CBT to help clients understand how trauma has shaped their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and to develop healthier, more adaptive patterns. This approach combines skill‑building with gentle processing, supporting clients in reducing distress, strengthening coping, and reclaiming a sense of safety and control.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

I am Level 1 trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and use this approach to help clients understand and compassionately engage with their protective and wounded parts. My work focuses on building self‑leadership, reducing internal conflict, and creating space for deeper healing and integration.
