As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and empowerment coach, I help individuals move from emotional confusion to clarity and self-connection through a structured and compassionate process. They may experience anxiety, relationship challenges, or a sense that something is missing—even when they are doing everything “right.” My work is especially supportive for individuals who are ready to slow down, gain clarity, and begin creating intentional change through a structured and compassionate process.
Trauma-Focused CBT
Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) is an evidence-based approach that helps you understand how past experiences continue to affect your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors today. In my practice, I use this approach to gently explore the root of emotional patterns while helping you build awareness and clarity around your internal experience. Rather than only managing symptoms, we work to understand where they come from and how they continue to show up in your life. Together, we identify healthier ways to respond, process difficult experiences, and begin creating meaningful change—at a pace that feels safe and supportive. Mind-body approach
The mind-body approach focuses on the connection between your emotional experience and your physical state, helping you become more aware of how your body reflects what you are feeling. In my practice, I use this approach to support you in developing a deeper connection with yourself—not just through thoughts, but through your physical and emotional awareness. This allows you to recognize patterns, regulate your responses, and respond with greater clarity and intention. Motivational Interviewing
Motivational Interviewing (MI) is a collaborative, person-centered approach that helps you explore your own readiness for change and strengthen your ability to make intentional decisions. Rather than telling you what to do, I guide you in exploring what feels true and meaningful for you. Solution Focused Brief Treatment
Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) is a structured approach that helps you move from emotional confusion to clarity by focusing on what is already working. Together, we identify your strengths, clarify your goals, and begin building practical actions that move you forward. Iris was absolutely phenomenal, in just 1 session I already feel so hopeful. She has a beautiful loving energy and I resonate with everything she says. She’s also very intuitive and explains things so clearly and visually on a white board which is helpful for me since I’m a visual learner. I could not recommend her enough!!! Absolutely amazing!
