Welcome! After much thought, you have made the very brave decision to seek therapy ... and what a difference it can make! It is important that you seek a therapist who respects your journey; Someone who demonstrates acceptance, compassion, empathy, and respect, while also therapeutically challenging you to become your best self - And I hope to serve as that person in your life. A little bit about me: I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW,) Perinatal Mental Health Counselor (PMH-C,) and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) with over 20 years of clinical experience. In assisting my clients, I take an integrative approach in using various therapeutic principles to aid my work. Simply put, I will help you identify and utilize your strengths, so that we can work through your struggles.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we will review what brings you into therapy and what you hope to achieve throughout your therapeutic journey. We will discuss boundaries, limitations, and safety precautions. Finally, we will set some realistic goals and identify means to achieving them.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

With over 20 years of clinical experience in outpatient, IOP/PHP, residential, and inpatient behavioral health services, I have learned that the most important thing in treating a client, is that no two clients are the same. I don't operate on a cookie-cutter approach to treatment but rather really look to identify your individual needs / strengths and tailor treatment accordingly. I accept you for who you are and help empower you to heal and grow into who you want to be.

My treatment methods

Eclectic

As no two person's struggles are the exact same, I firmly believe the treatment modality offered should be individualized to that person's needs. As such, I tailor the treatment method accordingly. Treatment modalities include, but not are limited to: CBT, DBT, ERP, Grief Therapy, Mindfulness-Based, Strength based, Trauma Informed Care.
