Are you a morning person? Do you like to meet early in the AM to get a great kick start for your day? I have availability early in the morning and I am a licensed clinical professional counselor (LCPC) who has been practicing for over 9 years. I have formal training in trauma treatment, TEAM-CBT, EMDR, and Relational Life Therapy for couples. I offer years of experience with several other approaches. I enjoy working with individuals and couples, I am an LGBTQIA+ ally, and i love my job! I believe you have the solutions inside of you already and you probably just need to set aside the time and space to discover them! Why not start first thing in the morning from the comfort of your home?
My ultimate goal is to encourage you to exercise more self-compassion, gain more insight, and practice acceptance, or, as a couple, to help you process past conflicts, create stronger connections, and learn to heal - my treatment approach depends on your presenting problem - I work with cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), motivational interviewing (MI), trauma focused treatments, Relational Life Therapy (RLT), TEAM-CBT, and many other approaches. I am very confident that we will find something that will work for you!
I promise empathy, trust, and encouragement. I am committed to therapy designed to be a safe place for you to open up.
I enjoy working with individuals and couples, I am an LGBTQIA+ ally, and I love that we all have our unique stories and individual perspectives, and I cannot wait to hear about yours, help you feel heard, and take the first step toward where you want to be.

per steve hayes, "We as a culture seem to be dedicated to the idea that ‘negative’ human emotions need to be fixed, managed, or changed—not experienced as part of a whole life. We are treating our own lives as problems to be solved as if we can sort through our experiences for the ones we like and throw out the rest" ACT is learning to live a life according to your personal values
