Today you are one step closer to a new you, feeling empowered and on a positive path to growth and well-being. As an Assistant Professor, Researcher, and Doctor of Marriage and Family Therapy and a solution-focused therapist, I aim to help you uncover your true potential and lead a life worth celebrating. While we can't change difficult situations of the past, we can work together to better understand and resolve challenges in your life. By applying complementary therapy approaches and techniques, we will unearth long-standing behavior patterns or negative perceptions that may be holding you back from experiencing a more fulfilling and meaningful life.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

I don't believe long-term therapy is always needed. Because of this, clients can expect to receive tools to use immediately.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I am very direct in my approach. I do not sugarcoat anything. I expect my clients to be open, honest, and ready to do the work to change their behavior.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work with adults, couples, and families who feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or misunderstood and want clarity, emotional balance, and healthier relationships. My approach is warm, direct, and culturally attuned, helping you understand the patterns shaping your life and the stress you carry. Together, we build insight, strengthen communication, and create meaningful, sustainable change so you can move forward with confidence, connection, and a deeper sense of self.

Dr. Morgan is amazingly awesome. my husband and I have been with him for a year now. He has helped us individually and as couple. not only is he direct, real, he is funny, intelligent, open but also genuinely cares. Dr. Morgan has helped us with solutions individually and as a couple. the new tactics, suggestions, homework on occasion has been a game changer. whats more my husband looks forward to his individual meeting and our couple meeting vs in the beginning when he was apprehensive.

This was a great first experience, especially for someone that had anxiety around trying therapy. I look forward to more sessions with Dr. Morgan.

I like the fact that he wasn't judgmental but took the time to listen. He reminded me that he is direct and very informal, thus keeping the conversation organic, real and not just therapeutic.
