I am a LPC and Professional School Counselor with seven years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, family conflicts, motivation, self-esteem, problem solving, goal setting, and coping with life changes. I’ve spent the majority of my counseling career working with teens and young adults. I have counseled teens from all backgrounds with a wide range of presenting issues. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I will tailor our dialogue and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I’m here to support and empower you in that journey.
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions including basic background and lifestyle. We will then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
I empathize with clients on a personal level. I meet my clients where they’re at and teach them skills to build themselves up and be to successful problem solvers and mental health managers. I teach my clients how to identify their feelings and give them permission to do so. I use humor to build rapport with my clients. I build a safe and trusting environment which is crucial to feeling comfortable so that you can share personal and vulnerable feelings.
I am suited for individuals who need a safe space to explore themselves and situations. I am equipped with helping clients with stress and anxiety, family conflicts, motivation, self-esteem, problem solving, goal setting, and coping with life changes. I am direct yet encouraging and professional yet laid back.
