Hi! I'm a Dual Licensed Therapist (LMFT, LPCC) based in both California and Arizona. I received two Masters degrees in Psychology, and am currently working on my PhD. I have been working for 10 years in the mental health field, 7 years in clinical practice. I have supported clients in areas such as: managing uncomfortable emotions, personal growth, goal-setting, overcoming addictions, understanding boundaries, working through grief, career challenges, religious trauma, cultural trauma, LGBTQ+ affirming care, and working with your dreams.
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, as well as learn more about what brings you to therapy. This will help me create a customized plan for you to work through in follow-up sessions.
As an integrative, depth-oriented, and creative therapist, my greatest strengths are being a good listener, empathetic, innovative, having an understanding of human transformation, which includes how our unconscious or past events can influence our current lives.
I work best with both male and female adults who are curious about their psychological and spiritual experience, and are open to exploring areas that will help support their journey.
The central idea of relational psychotherapy is that the patterns of our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, whether healthy or unhealthy, are directly related to patterns in our interpersonal relationships, from both the past and present. Relational therapy considers the whole person (mind, body, soul) as well, and also takes into account a persons personal connection with their unconscious, dreams, spirituality, culture, etc.
Jungian therapy focuses on exploring the unconscious mind, often using dreams, symbols, and archetypes to help individuals understand their inner conflicts and motivations. Jungian therapy looks more broadly at the psyche's symbolic content and aims to integrate all aspects of the self, including the shadow (unacknowledged parts of the personality) and the persona (the social mask we present to the world). Jungian therapy uses talk therapy, dreamwork, and other creative techniques to help clients achieve psychological growth. The goal is to guide clients towards self-understanding, self-acceptance, and a balanced life that aligns with their inner potential and values.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is a form of psychotherapy that combines mindfulness and behavioral strategies to help individuals live a more meaningful and value based life. We look at whats important to you, and help move you toward those people, places, activities.
