LMFT, 8 years of experience
Hi! CA and AZ licensed therapist (LMFT, LPCC) with a holistic approach. I received two Masters degrees in Psychology, and currently working on a PhD. I have been working for 10 years in the mental health field, 8 years in clinical practice. I have supported clients in areas such as: processing and validating emotions, identity exploration, personal growth, goal-setting, overcoming and understanding addictions, spiritual support, understanding healthy boundaries, working through grief, career challenges, religious trauma, cultural trauma, LGBTQ+ affirming care, and dreamwork.
In our first session together, we'll start with introductions, as well as learning more about what brings you to therapy. This will help me understand your needs better and how to approach follow-up sessions.
As an integrative therapist, my greatest strengths and offerings are being a good listener, empathetic, having an understanding of human transformation. This includes how things in our consciousness influence us, or how past events can shape present feelings/behaviors. I also have witnessed how developing a relationship to our dreams can be helpful.
I work best with both adults who are curious about their psychology, or those who engage in metaphysical/spiritual experiences in the environment, and are open to exploring and being curious about their inner world.
The central idea of relational psychotherapy is that the patterns of our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, whether healthy or unhealthy, are directly related to patterns in our interpersonal relationships, from both the past and present. Relational therapy considers the whole person (mind, body, soul) as well, and also takes into account a persons personal connection with their unconscious, dreams, spirituality, culture, etc.
Jungian therapy focuses on exploring the unconscious mind, often using dreams, symbols, and archetypes to help individuals understand their inner conflicts and motivations. Jungian therapy looks more broadly at the psyche's symbolic content and aims to integrate all aspects of the self, including the shadow (unacknowledged parts of the personality) and the persona (the social mask we present to the world). Jungian therapy uses talk therapy, dreamwork, and other creative techniques to help clients achieve psychological growth. The goal is to guide clients towards self-understanding, self-acceptance, and a balanced life that aligns with their inner potential and values.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is a form of psychotherapy that combines mindfulness and behavioral strategies to help individuals live a more meaningful and value based life. We look at whats important to you, and help move you toward those people, places, activities.

I just had my first session with Ryan. I absolutely loved it.. I felt understood, heard and respected when I was sharing thoughts and feelings. We came up with ways that will help me with my anxiety and stress and what to expect in the next sessions. I’m looking forward to this journey of healing.
