Hi! My name is Erin, and I have been a clinician for over 26 years. Congratulations on taking the first step to making things better! I am passionate about helping clients create meaningful and lasting positive changes in their lives and the quality of their relationships. Drawing from my experience as a private practice therapist and my training at Yale University in several evidence-based therapeutic methods, I collaborate with clients to identify, pursue, and support their personal goals, fostering the growth they seek in their lives and families.
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
I have extensive experience working with children, teens, and adults, earning a reputation for being compassionate and deeply committed to utilizing evidence-based therapies that are both scientifically grounded and supportive.
Parenting is our most important and rewarding job, but it comes with many challenges. I can help navigate these challenges with evidence-based skills that have been shown to not only improve child behaviors but create a positive home environment and reduce parental stress. Sometimes, children who display behavioral challenges benefit from support in developing their problem-solving skills. They may act impulsively or have difficulty managing their emotions. I offer a short-term, evidence-based treatment approach that helps children learn to pause and think and effectively navigate interpersonal situations. Facing mood challenges can often feel overwhelming, but you're not alone. I specialize in helping individuals regain a sense of control by establishing consistent daily routines that promote improved mood and increased energy levels.

I help individuals recognize how their thoughts influence emotions and actions and empower them to develop healthier coping strategies and responses to life's challenges.
I specialize in Interpersonal and Social Rhythm Therapy that is effective for individuals with mood disorders such as depression and bipolar disorder. Those with mood symptoms can be more sensitive to changes in routines and have mismatched circadian rhythms and that can lead to symptoms of depression or mania. I work closely with individuals and support them to make small changes to create consistent routines which has been shown to improve mood, energy and even sleep. The therapy also focuses on addressing problem areas in our important relationships that also affect mood and overall well-being.
