(he/him)
My name is Raymond, and I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health NP. I earned my master’s degree from Walden University and bring over ten years of experience in the healthcare field. Throughout my career, I have provided care for individuals with a broad range of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), mood disorders, bipolar disorder, anger-related concerns, grief, schizophrenia, insomnia, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and dementia. My clinical practice is grounded in evidence-based care with an emphasis on a holistic approach to mental health treatment. I am committed to developing individualized treatment plans that are tailored to each patient’s unique needs and personal goals. I strive to ensure that every patient feels supported, respected, and confident in their care, providing treatment with professionalism, integrity, and compassion.
Our initial psychiatric evaluation will be conducted via secure telehealth in a safe, confidential, and nonjudgmental environment where you can openly discuss your concerns. During this session, we will review your medical history, current symptoms, and past and present challenges to develop a comprehensive understanding of your needs. Together, we will create an individualized treatment plan that may include therapy, lifestyle modifications, and/or medication management, with the goal of supporting optimal mental health and overall well-being. PLEASE NOTE: We do not provide court-ordered mental health evaluations at this time.
I serve as a dedicated patient advocate, providing comprehensive and continuous psychiatric care that addresses physical, emotional, and mental well-being through a strong therapeutic alliance. I offer compassionate, culturally competent, and evidence-based care with skilled medication management and a holistic approach. Guided by extensive professional experience, empathy, and active listening, I collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to empower individuals to manage symptoms, achieve balance, and enhance their emotional, social, and overall well-being through high-quality mental health care.
I work with young teenagers, adult and geriatric patients to develop individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans tailored to each person’s unique needs and life circumstances. I specialize in the treatment of mood and anxiety disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, PTSD, OCD, schizophrenia, grief-related concerns, anger dysregulation, and other complex mental health conditions. Through a compassionate and evidence-based approach, I provide comprehensive medication management and integrate pharmacological treatment with behavioral therapies to address symptoms such as persistent worry, sleep disturbances, impaired focus, intrusive thoughts, and significant mood changes, with the goal of supporting long-term stability and optimal mental well-being.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is an evidence-based approach I incorporate into medication management to help patients identify and challenge inaccurate or negative thought patterns, improve coping skills, and respond more effectively to life stressors. I use CBT alone or in combination with other therapeutic modalities to support individuals with conditions such as depression, anxiety disorders, PTSD, substance use disorders, eating disorders, personality disorders, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia, where it has been shown to enhance treatment outcomes when used alongside pharmacotherapy.
