Hello! I'm a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist based in California. I have a Masters in Counseling/Marriage, Family, & Child Therapy and have been practicing for 10 years. I help individuals (adults, young adults, adolescents) struggling with mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, and unresolved traumas. I also work with families and couples struggling with relational distress. I'm a warm, highly empathetic, personable, high energy, and conscious therapist. I will help you find your power, take charge, action, and create change.
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introduction, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
Some of my greatest strengths as professional include 10+ years of clinical experience working in a variety of settings including community treatment, inpatient care, and private practice setting. In addition, I too have suffered with depression, anxiety, feeling lost, and hopeless to my circumstances. I have and continue to do the personal work needed to become a more balanced, joyful, and conscious individual. In addition to my education and professional experience, I believe my personal experience is one of my greatest strengths as a therapist.
I love working with individuals who are a point in their lives where they feel a need to look deep within themselves to identify the root cause of their reported problems. To not only "fix the problem" but to become conscious of how the problem was created, how it is being maintained, and practice a more conscious way of living, thinking, coping, and responding to life. In my personal and professional experience, this is what brings about true long-lasting change and allows individuals to live a more balanced, peaceful, joyful, and purpose-driven life.
