New to Grow
Greetings to you all. My name is Stacie Rivers. I earned a Master of Social Work degree from Fordham University Graduate School of Social Service and bring over twenty years of experience in the field of mental health care. My professional background includes providing services in residential treatment settings, public schools, and private practice. My therapeutic approach blends mindfulness practices, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), strength-based interventions, and other evidence-based modalities tailored to meet the unique needs of each client. My goal is to create a supportive and collaborative environment where clients feel empowered to explore challenges, build resilience, and work toward meaningful personal growth.
Starting therapy can feel overwhelming. Many people believe they need to have the “right words” or a clear plan for what they want to work on before beginning the process. We will move at a pace that feels safe and manageable for you, focusing on what matters most in your life. My hope is that from our very first session, you feel welcomed, respected, and supported just as you are.
My therapeutic approach is designed to provide a judgement-free space where you are free to show up with your fears, hopes, frustration, and questions. My goal is to support you in feeling more grounded, confident, and connected as you move toward a life that feels more aligned and fulfilling.
I specialize in treating adults with anxiety, depression, life transitions, self-esteem, and relationship issues. My treatment approach is to tailor each client's goals to help them build practical skills while fostering insight, resilience, and self-compassion. Services are provided in a telehealth setting to increase accessibility and flexibility for clients balancing busy lives. My therapeutic style is to provide a safe, welcoming environment where clients can process their emotions openly and work toward meaningful lasting change.
