Hi, I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida. I received my Masters degree in Counseling with a specialization in Clinical Mental Health from Barry University. I'm trained in Applied Behavior Analysis, EMDR and TF-CBT. My theoretical orientation includes Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Behavior Therapy, Motivation Interviewing, and Brief Solution Focused. I provide individual, couples, and family therapy. I have been practicing in the field of mental health for 9 years.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

I do believe in the saying that one cap does not fit all. Sessions are tailored to the individual. The first session will include an in depth assessment discussing areas of concern, presenting problems and history. If time permits, I will also help you with formulating your treatment plan goals and identify what it is that you are looking to get out of each session.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have worked in group home settings, residential settings, community mental health centers and private practices. My experiences give me great strengths in several areas. I have worked with individuals who are experiencing anxiety, depression and I have experiencing working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders, Intellectual Disabilities, PTSD, survivors of Domestic Violence and Traumas. I have worked with kids as young as 5 years old up and up to adulthood.
