Elizabeth Sciotto is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) serving clients in the state of Florida. Elizabeth received her master's degree from the University of Central Florida and has gone on to serve a clients in a variety of settings. She values meeting clients where they are and encourages self exploration and discovery through various evidence based interventions.
Clients can expect introductions and an opportunity to share their experience bringing them to therapy. From there, clients can expect collaborative goal setting, identifying a tailored treatment plan of goals and objectives.
Having worked with individuals in a variety of settings, I recognize the individuality of each person's experiences. I utilize this understanding to create a person centered approach to ensure clients feel empowered to gain a deeper connection to self and embrace all parts. This is achieved through the creation of an empathetic, safe, and supportive environment.
Elizabeth works with clients ranging from adolescence to elders. She is known to serve individuals who are experiencing the challenging effects of life stressors impacting their sense of authentic self. Her experience includes anxiety, depression, adjustment, grief/loss, and trauma.
Utilization of person centered treatment is very rewarding as it empowers individuals to navigate their treatment and in turn gain a deeper sense of self actualization.
CBT is proven to be an effective intervention of treatment. I utilize this modality by exploring how an individual's thoughts, behaviors, and emotions integrate and process personal experiences.
Strength-based interventions are known to positively enhance treatment. I utilize these interventions by highlighting and expanding on individual strengths to further encourage and empower self-determination and actualization.
Compassion focused therapy is an essential method. I integrate this by creating a safe space for clients and tap into mind body connection to support with emotional regulation and encourage self acceptance.
Through utilization of SFBT I meet clients where they are at and through guided exploration encourage clients to identify challenges, goals, and options to achieve their goals autonomously.
