New to Grow
Life can feel overwhelming when you’re carrying the lasting effects of difficult life experiences, constant worry, or the pressure of trying to hold everything together. You may feel anxious, emotionally exhausted, disconnected from yourself, or stuck in patterns that no longer serve you. Healing is possible, and you don’t have to navigate it alone. I believe healing begins with understanding. Together, we’ll explore the experiences, patterns, and beliefs that may be keeping you stuck so you can move forward with greater confidence, resilience, and self-compassion. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker-Certified (LCSW-C) with specialized training in EMDR, I help adults work through difficult life experiences, anxiety, depression, grief, burnout, relationship challenges, and life transitions. I also believe in the powerful connection between the mind and body, recognizing that stress and difficult experiences can affect us emotionally, mentally, and physically. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs, helping you create meaningful, lasting change.
Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and it’s completely normal to feel nervous or unsure. Our first session is simply an opportunity for us to get to know one another. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, the challenges you’re facing, and what you hope to gain from our work together. Just as importantly, it’s your chance to ask questions and decide whether I feel like the right fit for you. There is no pressure to share everything during our first meeting. We’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable and create a plan that reflects your goals and what matters most to you. My hope is that you’ll leave our first session feeling heard, understood, and hopeful about the path ahead.
One of my greatest strengths is helping clients understand why they feel the way they do. When we understand the patterns behind our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, lasting change becomes possible. I strive to create a space where you feel safe, respected, and genuinely understood. I’ll meet you where you are while gently encouraging growth at a pace that feels right for you. Together, we’ll work to uncover the root of what’s keeping you stuck—not just manage symptoms. Using EMDR and other evidence-based approaches, I help clients move beyond surviving to truly healing. My goal is to help you build resilience, strengthen self-awareness, and develop practical tools so you can confidently navigate life’s challenges long after therapy ends
My ideal client is someone who is ready to invest in themselves and believes they deserve to feel better. You don’t have to have everything figured out or be in crisis to benefit from therapy. You simply have to be willing to take the first step and remain open to the process. Many of the people I work with are feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, carrying the weight of past experiences, navigating life transitions, experiencing burnout, or finding themselves stuck in patterns that no longer serve them. They may understand what they want to change but aren’t sure how to make that change on their own. Therapy is an investment of time, energy, and courage. While healing isn’t always easy, it is possible. My clients are looking for more than temporary symptom relief—they want to better understand themselves, strengthen their resilience, improve their relationships, and create lasting change. They value a collaborative approach and are willing to explore the connection between their thoughts, emotions, experiences, and physical responses. My goal is to provide a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where you feel safe, supported, and empowered to do meaningful work. Together, we’ll identify what’s keeping you stuck, build practical tools for managing life’s challenges, and help your mind and body move toward healing. If you’re ready to invest in your emotional well-being, develop healthier ways of coping, and create a life that feels more balanced, fulfilling, and authentic, I’d be honored to walk alongside you. Lasting change is possible, and you don’t have to do it alone.
